Same as previous recent reviews. Ian is a scammer who is quite happy and keen to string you along with quotes and then push for a deposit, then come up with many excuses for not completing the work. Have spoken to Roofing Federation who have advised Health and Safety guidelines haven’t been followed. No proof of materials purchased. Will be pursuing this through the legal process. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Ian is a scammer - he has carried out terrible work on our chimney that we found out afterwards was a serious fire risk. He denied he had done anything wrong even though we had photographic evidence he had sent us of the terrible work his company had done. He refused to pay us our money back and we've had to begin the process of going through the small claims court with him. In a nutshell, he is a chronic liar.

If you don't want your lives put in danger by negligence and lack of quality of work do not hire them! Likewise if you don't want to waste literally days chasing them up, changing plans because they say they will show up only to go radio silent, then also do not hire them. As many people here say, they are INCREDIBLY unprofessional, cowboy roofers, do not honour the warranty, and make you waste so much time! Don't be fooled by their advertising and chattery! Ian came & quoted us for roofing work. We’ve since had quotes from reputable roofers & he over quoted us by £2000. Worse than that he took £1600 for scaffolding costs as a deposit and has never turned up. He’s now deleted his FB page, stopped answering calls, stopped replying to messages. He’s done no work and refused to return our deposit. Absolute disgrace & a rogue trader. DO NOT PAY this man any money ever!

It seems I am another customer to be scammed by Ian. Reviews were perfect at the time and he came highly recommended on the Everything Edgeley Facebook page. Communication was fantastic all up until I paid a £1000 deposit, the date we'd agreed work would start passed without any communication of this changing, I chased and chased for a receipt for the deposit and confirmation of when work would start, 3 more dates came and went without Ian turning up or communicating he was delayed. He agreed to refund and of course he hasn't, my partner and I are now both being ignored and the reviews are coming out how we're not the only ones he's done this to.
